Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am currently a Macaulay sophomore studying Economics and Chinese (possibly minoring in Computer Science). Over the summer I was the Science Specialist at Camp Hidden Valley (Fresh Air Fund) and I taught a series of classes ranging from building your own indoor balsa planes to making your own DIY Lava Lamp. I always saw Science and Design as one. Currently, I am working on organizing the Eco Fashion Expo (fashion show) at Hunter College to challenge designers to rethink the idea of waste, to turn what the typical eye might see as trash to something beautiful.
